They were still able to win just about all of their tournaments this season. They were seeded highly in playoffs, but fell short in the end. They were able to come up with a record of 21-8-0 overall and 8-4-0 in league. Over the course of the season this Varsity team believes that they improved greatly in experience and playing abilities. They also believe that they became as one and played hard during every game. "We have good meaningful practices and have good team unity," said Mitch Robinson, senior. The team wanted to improve on some of their techniques during practice so they could seem perfect on the field during games. "We want to get better when we step on the plate and we want to stay in the game the whole time also," said Robinson. Many of the players set goals for this season like winning league, having a better batting average, or just being in the starting lineup. "I want to get twenty three or more wins this season and the league title this year for sure," said Robby Lasby, senior. As a team they believe that they perfected their techniques during practice and were able to show them during games all throughout the season. "We had really good pitching and defense all throughout this season," said Robinson. "I want to help out the team the most that I can at my full potential and I want to win sections," said Jared Poore, sophomore. The team had their last regular season game against Enterprise. They beat Enterprise 8-1 at Enterprise. This gave them motivation for their next game. "We want to beat Shasta, but I'm pretty sure we can because we have played twice already and beat them twice," said Robinson before they lost to Shasta. Their last game that they played was against Shasta. They lost 4-2 and it was a playoff game which ended their season and also ended their goals in taking the section title. They have played twice already and Red Bluff beat them twice, but in the end Red Bluff fell short.
