Memorial services were held at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy W. McEowen and Elsie Lape McEowen. He is survived by his wife, Jane McEowen; son, Steven McEowen of Mason, Texas; daughter, Jennifer Motes and husband, James of Venice, Florida; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Weaver Jamison.
