BRYAN "BUD" ALLEN POSTON Mr. Bryan "Bud" Allen Poston, age 90, of Shelby, NC, passed away on March 28, 2015. Funeral Services were held at Elizabeth Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Poston served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Whisnant Poston; his parents, Bryan Pinkney and Flora Allen Poston; and a sister, Katherine Givens. Mr. Poston is survived by three daughters, Linda Patterson and husband, Jim of Shelby, NC, Evelyn Johnson and husband, Tom of Leland, NC, and Alice Cochran and husband, Chris of Pawleys Island, SC; two sisters, Ruth Hamrick and Pansy Carpenter and hus- band, Wade, all of Shelby, NC; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
