Internment was held in Capernaum Cemetery, Waco. Mrs. Hewitt was preceded in death by her father, James Thomas Grigg. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hewitt of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; her mother, Martha Lee Grigg; son, Christopher Brackett of Shelby; two stepsons, Taylor Hewitt of N.
