PAUL RUBIN LEATHERMAN Mr. Paul Rubin Leatherman, 86, of Shelby, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011. A graveside ser- vice was held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Leatherman served his country in the US Army during WWII where he received a purple heart. He was pre- ceded in death by his parents, John Franklin Leatherman and Ethel Mae Houser Leatherman; a son, Paul Rubin Leatherman Jr.; two brothers, Pink and Zack Leatherman and three sister, Ethel Crotts, Josephine Warlick and Suzie Hoyle.
