Heating Up Again... We’re heading back into a hotter and drier pattern over the weekend. The earlier part of the week featured a stalled out front in our region, that sparked some scattered storms, but eventually a high pressure will take control of our weather. This will mean a lot more sun, and less in the way of daily thunderstorms. There will still be a few isolated scattered storms to develop in the heating of the day, mainly over Golden Valley and the hillier areas of the mountains, but most of us will likely stay dry. If a storm does form, it will come from your north, a little unusual, but this has been our pattern this season. Out west, they can’t buy a drop of rain in Texas or the desert southwest, even areas that get thunderstorms this time of year aren’t getting them. There’s a terrible drought plaguing the entire south- west, and its going to take a hurricane or tropical system to come in from the gulf of Mexico to get those folks some rain finally.
