BAKED CINNAMON RAISIN FRENCH TOAST 1 loaf cinnamon raisin toast 9 large eggs 2 cups milk 1/2 cup maple or table syrup 1-2 tsp. cinnamon 8 oz. whipped cream cheese Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cube the bread. Combine eggs, milk, syrup and cinna- mon in a large bowl and whisk thoroughly. Spray a 13”x9” pan with cooking spray. Spread half of bread in the bottom of pan. Drop teaspoons full of cream cheese over layer of bread as evenly as possible. Spread remaining bread over top, making sure to cover as much of the cream cheese as possible. Pour egg mixture evenly over top. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon to taste. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes. Historically, Older Americans Month has been a time to acknowledge the contributions of past and current older persons to our country, in particular those who defended our country. Every President since John F. Kennedy has issued a formal proclamation during or before the month of May asking that the entire nation pay tribute in some way to older persons in their communities.
