The show includes tempera art, depicting everything from Eastern butterflies to under- water sea horses, and it will run through May 1. Oswego native Gipp focuses on the often unseen and unnoticed creatures and plants that inhabit our surroundings. The colors and textures in nature are reflected in the style used. Hartwick to host close for art show The Foreman Gallery at Hartwick College will host the exhibit “From Image to Object: Painting to Collage” by Bart Gulley until Friday, March 18. It will host a clos- ing reception and a gallery talk with Gulley that day at 5 p.m. The artist returns with new works created specifically for exhibition at Hartwick, with more than 40 pieces. Gulley’s paintings were featured in the film “Morn- ing Glory,” starring Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton.
