Warming Up A Little...What a cold, wild Winter it’s been so far! Two good snows across the South, and non stop cold. So when can we expect a pattern change? I see a little bit of a break this weekend, atleast we’ll finally go above freezing as the pattern relaxes some, but already there’s signs of more cold air about to come into the Country. This pattern just favors the nation to be in the Deep Freeze, and I don’t see any long periods of warm air coming up, unlike the previous Winters lately that were so warm in January. In fact, the long range models keep the high lattitude block- ing going, which favors more cold air to push south into our region, and we’ll have to keep watch on the storm tracks. Right now, late Saturday night and Sunday feature another Gulf low coming our way, but it looks just a little too warm, so maybe this one will be mostly rain here. By next week, a series of storms come out of the Gulf, and those have to be watched closely, so check the blog. Following all of that, more cold on top of cold. I’m sorry about the heating bills this Winter, but try to make the best of Old Man Winter.
