He supports and strongly encourages positive alternatives to abortion, such as adoption. SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE Tim was the primary sponsor of legislation to amend the constitution to provide that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, at one time. (HB 1606) CARING FOR THE FAMILY Working families should be able to keep more of the dollars they earn. Tim believes families know their needs better than the government. PROTECTION OF CHILDREN Tim sponsored new legislation to crack down on child predators by increasing criminal punishment for sex off enders and satellite tracing off enders. He supports minimum 25 years prison terms for sex off enders. (HB 1921, HB 1896) “Cleveland County still needs more jobs.” –Tim Moore Tim Moore is serious about solving our job shortage and bringing economic recovery to Cleveland County. As the primary sponsor of Jessica’s Law, Tim made sure that those who take advantage of our most precious resource are severely punished. Jessica’s Law would require 25-year to life sentences for most sex-off ense crimes in which a child is a victim.
