Mr. Barrett was preced- ed in death by his parents, Marvin and Debbie Jones Barrett. Burton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Earl with Military Honors and Masonic Rites. Mr. McSwain served our coun- try in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Dewey and Sue Beatrice Sansing McSwain; and 1 brother, Charles Edwin McSwain. He is survived by his wife, Brenda McSwain; 2 daugh- ters, Tracy Hamrick and hus- band Jimmy of Shelby, and Michelle M. Vess of Shelby; and 1 granddaughter.
