Tranquil Fall Weather...For a while yet. Another dry front will push through Friday, and bring in cooler air once again, but probably no rain. We’re about 10” behind normal for the year over the southern half of both Rutherford and Cleveland, and around 4 to 6” below in the upper sections. I don’t see any rain in sight yet, and being a “la Nina” pat- tern for the next few months, it’s likely that this year will be atleast a foot below normal rainfall. On Friday, a strong Nor’easter will spin off the coast and bring windy conditions for a time to our area before pulling away to the Northeast, but sunshine will be the rule through the weekend. Most of the country will have sunny, dry, warm weather as well, but Canada is building up the cold air.
