Born in Huttig, AR, on December 11, 1935, he was the son of the late Ennos Clyde Eeds and Roxie Moore Eeds. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Clyde Eeds, sister Ola Mae Baker and son-in-law, Larry Skinner. Mr. Eeds served our coun- try in the U.S. Army National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn "Kitty" Cole Eeds; daugh- ters: Debbie (Watt) Smith of Granite Falls, NC and Kathy Skinner of Shelby; two grand- children and three great grandchildren. Tillman, Sr., 98, and Catherine Grayson Tillman 93, both of Shelby, NC, passed away; Catherine on December 2, 2023 and Eddie on December 3, 2023. Both were born in Cleveland County, North Carolina. Mr. Tillan served our country in the U.S. Army Air Force dur- ing World War II. Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, AW and Tessie Tillman, sister Doris T. Beam and brother- in-law, Clyde Beam, and sis- ter Roberta Tillman. Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Mary Grayson and sib- lings Jack Grayson, Peggy G. Gantt, Pat G. Gorman, Ronnie Grayson, and Linda Noggle. Her surviving siblings are Roger and Catherine Grayson, Charlie Noggle, and Carol Grayson.
