Born in Newport, TN on December 25, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Ervin Ross Giles and Bernice Turner Giles. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Donald Gantt; daughter-in-law, Kathy Gantt; brother, John L. Giles; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Giles. She is survived by her daughters: Beth Hoyle and husband, Everett, Jr, and Gail Bettis (Stanley); son, Kenny Gantt; brother, Junior Giles; sister, Evie Davis; sis- ter-in-law, Brenda Giles, Lib Gantt and Jessie Rogriquez (John); seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchil- dren.
