"Movie: The Hating Game" Sparks fly for ambitious career woman Lucy (Lucy Hale, "Katy Keene") when she engages in a ruthless game of one-up- manship with Joshua (Austin Stowell, "Catch-22"), her cold and efficient nemesis at work, and becomes attracted to him in this 2021 romantic comedy from director Peter Hutchings ("Then Came You," "The Outcasts"). Corbin Bernsen, Yasha Jackson and Brock Yurich also star. "Movie: Laura Pausini: Pleased to Meet You" From director Ivan Controneo ("One Kiss," "Kryptonite!") comes this documen- tary that retraces the life of the Queen of Italian Pop and attempts to answer the question of what would have happened if Laura had not won the Sanremo Music Festival (Italian song contest) in 1993. Never-before-seen glimpses of her personal and professional lives augment the story. (ORIGINAL) "Ozark" The fourth and final season of this dark crime drama finds Marty and Wendy (Ja- son Bateman, Laura Linney) climbing to the top of the Navarro empire after ridding themselves of Helen. They get another opportunity to leave the Ozarks but past sins come back to haunt them and threats from family emerge. Other cast returnees include Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gaertner. (ORIGINAL) The STREAM Scene Where all the top choices can be found in one place! "The Big Chill" (1983) In an accomplished ensemble cast, Close was the only performer to land an Oscar nomination as a doctor, wife and mother struggling to come to terms with a close friend's suicide. "The Natural" (1984) Though Robert Redford is the nominal star of this baseball drama, Close has a pivotal role as a woman who inspires his pitcher character to greatness. "Jagged Edge" (1985) A fine Close plays an attorney who doubts the innocence of her newspaper- publisher client (Jeff Bridges), suspected of his wife's murder. "Fatal Attraction" (1987) More than 30 years later, Close's performance as a seductress who makes a married attorney (Michael Douglas) regret – like, really regret – their brief affair still resonates. "Dangerous Liaisons" (1988) Close is effectively chilling as an 18th-century royal who gleefully participates in a wicked game of emotional manipulation. "Immediate Family" (1989) Close and James Woods give lovely performances as a couple getting to know another duo (Mary Stuart Masterson, Kevin Dillon) whose forthcoming child they hope to adopt. "Reversal of Fortune" (1990) In this true story, Close gives a master class in acting with limited motion as Sunny von Bulow, a rich wife whose husband Claus (Jeremy Irons) was convicted – twice – of trying to kill her. "Hamlet" (1990) Close is an expectedly effective Gertrude opposite Mel Gibson, who has the title role in Franco Zeffirelli's envisioning of the Shakespeare classic. "The Paper" (1994) Close plays the publisher's budget-conscious deputy in director Ron Howard's fine newspaper drama. "101 Dalmatians" (1996) Leave it to a talent as clever as Close to bring Disney villainess Cruella DeVil into the live-action realm so memorably. "Air Force One" (1997) Harrison Ford sees action in the air, but Close is compelling on the ground as the vice president who faces hard choices in tr ying to save her hijacked boss. "Paradise Road" (1997) In this grueling drama, Close plays one of a number of women held prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II. "Cookie's Fortune" (1999) A stage director (Close) tries to cover up the fact that her aunt committed suicide in Robert Altman's comedy-drama. "102 Dalmatians" (2000) Close reprises the role of Cruella DeVil, who launches another plot against the title canines. "Albert Nobbs" (2011) Close does remarkable work as a man who comes to a life-shaking realization while working as a hotel waiter in 19th-century Ireland. "The Wife" (2017) In a strong, Oscar-nominated performance, Close plays the self-sacrificing spouse of a Nobel Peace Prize winner (Jonathan Pryce). "Crooked House" (2017) Close plays one of the suspects in a tycoon's death in "Downton Abbey" mentor Julian Fellowes' adaptation of an Agatha Christie tale. "Hillbilly Elegy" (2020) Close earned her latest Oscar nomination by reteaming with director Ron Howard for this multigenerational saga.
