She was born in Cleveland County, NC, and was pre- ceded in death by her moth- er, Betty Alexander Hope; a brother, James "Jim" Hope; and a sister, Donna Short. K e n n e t h H a r o l d Bumgardner Sr., 83, of Kings Mountain, passed away on April 7, 2022. Born on January 5, 1939 in Gastonia, NC, Ken was the son of the late Eddleman and Mary Steele Bumgardner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Shawn Bumgardner and his brother, Charles Bumgardner. daughters, Kaitlyn Saldo and Jada Saldo; a grand- daughter; sister, Donna Boone and husband Mike; brothers, Terry Saldo and the Rev. David Saldo and wife Wendy; mother and father-in-law, Jake and Louise Caveny; and sister- in-law, Tina Cloninger and husband, Todd. Born in Rutherford County on August 26, 1935, she was the daughter of the late William M. Ball and Leanne Minnie Green Ball. In addition to her parents, Lola is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd G. Murray; and her three sons, Jerry, Gilbert, and Wade Murray. She is survived by five children, Tommy Murray ( V a n e s s a ) , B r e n d a Nestlerode (Raymond), Anna Murray, Danny Murray, and Lora Faye Harding; fif- teen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Bobby was born Friday, June 14, 1935 in Cleveland County to the late Carl Green Blanton and Docia Patterson Blanton. He served our country in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, CG, Bill, Jack, Louis, Finley, and Don Blanton; sisters, Janie Harris, Elizabeth Brewer and Nellie Kimbrell, and a son Alvin Blanton. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Blanche Williams Blanton; a son, Dennis Blanton (Cindy); a brother, Sam Blanton (Liz); seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The funeral service was April 12, 2022 at the Corinth Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Conner and Reverend Ad Hopper offici- ating. Born in Lawton, OK, he was the son of the late Raymond Karsmizki and Nimmie J. Karsmizki. Mr. Karsmizki is survived by three sons, Samuel Carl Karsmizki Jr. (Grace) of Texas, Donald Karsmizki (Misty) of Gaffney, and Jason Ross Karsmizki (Shawnta) of Clover; one sister, Carolyn Broach Middleton (Walter) of Texas; one brother, Michael Karsmizki of the Philippines; and three grandchildren. Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of Ceafie McKinley Leagon Jr. and the late Bobbie Jean Graham Leagon. Mrs. Harward is survived by three daughters, Wendy Michelle Leagon of Gaffney, Tina Renee Burgess (James) of Blacksburg, and Crystal Nicole Hall (Chad David) of Clover; three sis- ters, Deborah Ann Hamrick (Donald), Tonya Leagon Deaton, and Monica Lowe (Kenny); one brother, Steve Leagon; and nine grandchil- dren and six great-grand- children. In addition to his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Abbott and sister Diane Caraway. Mr. Abbott served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
