At the first workshop, speakers will talk about present-use value taxation for farm use, rural agriculture zoning, conservation easements, and stream mitigation easements. Right now, there is a lot of interest in the farming community about conservation easements and stream mitigation easements, and several local land trusts and mitigation firms will be on hand to answer questions.
