He was born to parents Griffin and Muriel Murray on September 8, 1945, in Cleveland County, NC. He is survived by his wife, Alma, and his two daugh- ters, Nicole and Michelle. CHARLES BUFORD HUFFMAN Charles Buford Huffman, 80, of Vale, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Born in Cleveland County on September 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Roy Huffman and Charlene Detter Huffman. Mr. Huffman is survived by his wife, Maxine Willis Huffman; one son, Allen Charles Huffman of Vale; and three sisters, Janice Williams, Ruth Johnson and Brenda Bollinger all of Vale. The funeral service was held February 9, 2022 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Allen Boliek officiating. The burial followed in the church cem- etery. AURORA LEIGHANN BELL Aurora Leighann Bell, daughter of Cindy Bell Cook, was cradled back into Her Heavenly Father's arms Saturday, January 29, 2022. She came into this world on July 19, 2021. Aurora is survived by her mother; twin sister, Ariel Grace Bell; her sis- ters, Alexis Cook of Hickory Debbie Dover of Shelby, NC. Born December 21, 1936 in Cleveland County, NC, Clyde was the son of the late James Lyman Humphries and Delta Ware Humphries and was preceded in death by his wives, Evelyn Downs Humphries and Ann Blanton Humphries; a brother, Preston Humphries and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Humphries. Born in Cleveland County on March 22, 1965, he was a son of James "Jimmy" Carroll and Sharon Wilson Grigg. Mr. Carroll served our country in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Kyra Carroll of Harvest, AL and Emalea Earle of Fayetteville, TN; three brothers, Jeffrey Roy Carroll, John Carroll and Richard Carroll and wife, Mary all of Fallston; two grandchildren; step-father, Warren Grigg and step- mother, Cathy Carroll. Survivors include her husband, William Richard Threewits, Sr.; son, William Richard Threewits, Jr. of Huntersville; daughter, Barbara Ann Jacobsen of Polkville; brother, Martin J. Stanley is survived by his daughters Michelle Jolley (Trevor) and Jennifer Patterson (Adam); two granddaughters; two step- sons Randy Martinez (Heather) and Miguel Martinez (Hebeluz); six grandchildren; brother, Steve Walker (Tina); step-brother, Scott Russ (Charlotte); stepsister, Amy Brantley; stepsister, Connie Shytles; and his stepmother, Martha Lancaster.
