He was born December 19, 1955, in Greencastle, the on- ly child and son of John and Donna (Cassida) Ruble, of Ayrshire. He loved his God, fami- ly and country. He attended Winslow Christian Church with his parents and children. He was a devoted fami- ly man and was never happi- er than when he was spend- ing time with his daugh- ters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had lived in Pike County for 33 years, where he owned and operated Pike Co. Tim- ber Products, until his health failed. He was a man of many in- terests. He loved watching sports on T V and in person. In school, he played baseball, basketball, wrestled and was kicker for the high school foot- ball team in Mt. Carmel, Ill. He also enjoyed playing golf, hunting rabbits, quail and pheasant, and fishing with family and friends. He loved music and, being a pianist himself, enjoyed play- ing the keyboard along with a group of special musician friends from Mt. Carmel, Ill. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his keen sense of humor, kind- ness and generosity to every- one. In 2011, he did a very no- ble and generous act by agree- ing to donate his body to the Anatomical Education pro- gram at Indiana University School of Medicine. This gen- erous act will significantly benefit the quality of life and care for the living. He is survived by his par- ents; two daughters, Stacey ( Johnnie) Farmer, of Marion, Ill. and Margaret (Dwight) Lewis, of Murray, Ky.; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He requested to his family that any memorial donations be made to Winslow Chris- tian Church, PO Box 382, Winslow, IN 47598. BARBAR A A. HARRELL Barbara A. Harrell, 58, passed away January 23, 2022. She was born in Washing- ton, April 6, 1963, to Donel Ray and Marilyn Veronica (Clements) White. On June 20, 1981, she married James "Jim" W. Harrell, and he sur- vives. She graduated from Vin- cennes University summa cum laude with an Associate Degree in Psychology. She was employed at the Viking Mart in Montgomery. She en- joyed shopping, scrapbooking and crafting. She was an av- id flower gardener, especially sunflowers. Most of all, she en- joyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery. She is survived by her hus- band, Jim Harrell; daughter, Brianna Harrell, of Montgom- ery; and son, Jessie Harrell, of Alfordsville; three grandchil- dren; and one brother, Mike ( Jamie) White, of Petersburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donel and Marilyn White; and a broth- er, Rick White. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the St. Peter Cem- etery, Montgomery, with Pas- tor Michael White officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation will be from 4- 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Ave- nue, Washington, with a Cel- ebration of Life beginning at 6 p.m. at the chapel. She was born in Winslow, on September 8, 1934, to the late Otis Brown and Ada (Robling) Brown. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed puzzles, Sudo- ku, crosswords, quilting, The Price is Right with Bob Barker and Wheel of Fortune. She is survived by her chil- dren, Adrian (Mindy) Sharp and Whitney Norris; three grandchildren; siblings, Wan- da (Eddie) Williams, Juanita Cooper, Harold Brown and Ni- na (Bill) Vaughn; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Sharp; and siblings, Maxine Greene, Irene Tooley, Everett Brown, Alice Fowler, Paul Brown and Shirley Loveless. "Dottie" Keller, 86, of Jasper, passed away at 7:47 p.m. on Thursday, Jan- uary 20, 2022, at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born in Hunting- burg on October 11, 1935, to Ernest and Frances (Sollman) Rademacher. She married Kenneth Keller on April 28, 1956, in Fort Riley, Kan. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2014. She retired from Memorial Hospital in Jasper, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for twenty years. She was a member of St. Jo- seph Catholic Church in Jas- per, where she served as a Eu- charist Minister and on Ste- phens Ministry for the nurs- ing homes in the area. She was also a member of their St. Ann's Sodality and the Jasper Circle of the Daughters of Isa- bella. She was a charter mem- ber of the Psi Iota Si Sorori- ty and a member of the Jasper Art Guild. She is survived by three daughters, Becky (Sylvan) Mehringer, of Jasper, Chris Schnell, of Ireland, and Angie (Mark) Buffenbarger, of Vel- pen; three sons, Mike Keller (Shannon), of Columbus, Dave ( Janet) Keller, of New- burgh, and Al (Sheri) Keller, of Jasper; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Klee, of Tuc- Want to share your news with others?
