What mighty power time can exert if wholly given up to God. This is especially true in communion with God, all on the one condition: that we have sufficient time with God. Yet we often confess the weak- ness of our spiritual life and the inadequate results of our work. This is due to the failure to take time for daily commu- nion with God. What can be the cause of this sad confession? Nothing less than a lack of faith in the God-given assurance that time spent alone with Him will in- deed bring into our lives the power to do His work.
