Linda was born Tuesday, January 29, 1952, in Cleveland County to the late Henry Beheler and Ila Lucille McCleod Beheler. She is survived by her husband, Ron L. Willis; son, Scott Wayne Willis (Brandi); daughter, Wendy Sullivan; brothers, David and Wayne Beheler; and four grandchil- dren. The funeral service was held October 25, 2021, at the Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Frashier and Reverend Scott Butler offici- ating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Condolences may be made to www.carpenterporter.com MARY JOYCE CHILDERS COBB Mary Joyce Childers Cobb, 85, of Blacksburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Eugene Buck Cobb and the daughter of the late Robert Lee Childers and Cathlene Maynor Childers. Mrs. Cobb is survived by two daughters, Candy Martin (Dennis) and Tammy Wankowski (Bob); two step- sons, Wesley Cobb (Kim) and Sidney Cobb (Phyllis); nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preced- ed in death by her daughter, Dana Michelle Sprouse and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held October 25th, 2021 at Cherokee Falls Baptist Church, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Tim Knotts and Rev. Willie Lanier officiat- ing. Interment followed at Mountain View Cemetery. RAFAEL LUGO Rafael Lugo, age 93, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 25, 2021. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, he was son of the late Rafael Lugo, Sr. and Grasiana Lisojo Lugo. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Lugo; and four brothers and five sisters. Mr. Lugo served our coun- try in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was recipi- ent of the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the Purple Heart. He is survived by his sons: Benjamin Lugo and wife Tracy, North Augusta, SC, Eli Lugo and wife Mitzi, Cleveland, TN, and Arnalzo Lugo, Hayesville, NC; and seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. TRUDY HARDIN SISK MARTIN Trudy Hardin Sisk Martin, age 70 of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She is survived by her hus- band, Benny Martin of the home; two children, Richard Ray Martin of Shelby, NC, and Charity Brook Martin Lanasa and husband Michael of Taylors, SC; and a grand- daughter. Born May 3, 1951 in Marion, NC, Trudy was the daughter of the late Ray and Esther Hardin Sisk and was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Fowler. She was born on August 21, 1924 in Gaston County to the late William and Beulah Metcalf Mauney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ross Clark; and siblings, Carl Mauney, Lois Neill, Robert Mauney, Thelma Propst, James Mauney, and Ava Anthony. Survivors include her daughter, Renee Clark Whisenant and husband, Dan; a granddaughter; a great granddaughter; and KURT NEAL HEILEGER Kurt Neal Heiliger, age 51, of Ellenboro, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, James Russell Heiliger and one sister, Coleen Martin. Mr. Heileger is survived by his mother, Delores Neal Heiliger; and three brothers, Timothy, Jeffrey, and Jason Heiliger. A private service will be held at a later date. MARY EUNICE SMITH HUDSON Mary Eunice Smith Hudson, 81, of Casar, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Born in Rutherford County, on November 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Lenoir Smith and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Denton Smith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Smith and Melvin Smith; two infant brothers; sister, Zelna Hudson and two infant sis- ters. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Edward Hudson; sons, Hudean Hudson and wife, Peggy of Polkville, Gary Hudson and wife Sandra of Casar and Darrell Hudson of Casar; daughter, Mary Huffman and husband Reggie of Casar; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; two brothers, Ralph Smith and Wayne Smith both of Casar; and two sisters, Thelma Smith of Casar and Cora Lovelace of Shelby.
