Born in Cleveland County on October 4, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Joe Stewart and Geraldine Camp Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild and one great grandchild. BEVERLY CHRISTY McMURRY Beverly Christy McMurry, 89, of Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Born on September 26, 1932, she was a daugh- ter of the late Thomas Henry Christy and Carrie Corpening Christy. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Dr. Joseph Crowell McMurry and two sisters, Edith Christy and Brandon Shields. She is survived by her two sons, Steve McMurry and wife Jerrianne Queen of Lawndale and Dale Houston and wife Crystal of Kannapolis; two daughters, Christy Devine and hus- band David of Concord and Leanne Hall and husband Tim of Statesville; six grand- children; seven great grand- children; and brother-in-law, Fitzhugh McMurry and wife Judy of Lawndale. WILLIAM RICHARD MORGAN William Richard Morgan, 76, of Blacksburg, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Born in Nashville, TN, he was the husband of Mary Kathryn Carr Morgan and the son of the late William Andrew Morgan and Elma Fowler Morgan. In addition to his wife, Mr. Morgan is survived by one son, William Richard Morgan II; one daughter, Wendy Michelle Morgan; two step- daughters, Shelia Hutchins and Karla McMahan; four grandchildren; one great- grandchild. Mr. Morgan served our country in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his par- ents and his siblings, Sterling Morgan, W.T. Morgan, Jody Morgan, Dennie Morgan, Lura Morgan, and Jo Williams. CARLA TROUTNER PICKELSIMER Carla Troutner Pickelsimer, 76, of Pickelsimer Road, Casar, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Born in New York on November 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Harold Sherman Troutner and Vera Mae Heath Troutner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Earl Cramer. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Robert Pickelsimer; two sons, Brent Pickelsimer of Long Beach, CA and Mitchel Pickelsimer and wife, Veronica of Greenville, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Lurea Towery Ridge; and three brothers, Bryson Wright, Jr., Alan Wright and Ray Wright. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Coleman Tesseneer and a infant brother and a sister, Bright Carroll. She is survived by her son, David Ledford and wife Betty of Dirty Ankle; daugh- ter, Angie Andleton and husband Greg of Roanoke Rapids; brother, Yates W.
