Bridges, 85, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 12, 2021 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Bowling Green, SC, to the late Jack Hannon and Josie Beatrice Rippy and was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Darlene was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Bridges and a son, Larry Dean Bridges. She is survived by her son, Danny Bridges of Kings Mountain, NC and sister, Irene Bernstein of Kings Mountain, NC Funeral service was held October 18, 2021 in the Ollie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kings Mountain, NC. RITTA MAXINE CARRIGAN Ritta Maxine Carrigan, 82, of Kings Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Carolina Care in Cherryville. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late John William and Margaret Myers Carrigan. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Hope and husband, Norman; brother, Charlie Carrigan and wife, Betty, both of King Mountain; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Funeral services were held October 17, 2021 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel in Kings Mountain, with the Rev. Michael Chambers officiating. A family burial took place in Cleveland Memorial Park. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Thomas Frank and Emogene Allen Dixon. Mr. Dixon served our coun- try in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Dixon and sis- ter, Tracy Rippy. He is survived by his son, Harris Memorial Chapel. RANDY THOMAS WILLIS Randy Thomas Willis, 65 of Camp Knob Road, Casar, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at UNC Health - Blue Ridge in Morganton. Born in Cleveland County, NC on January 20, 1956 he was the son of the late Ralph Eugene Willis, Sr. and Lula Mae Sweezy Willis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers, Boyd, Phillip, Larry, Pete, Glenord, Ralph, Jr., Dale and Gene Willis. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Hudson Willis; a daughter, Christy Huggins and husband, John of Casar and two grandchildren. LACEY LEE CAMPBELL REDMOND Lacey Lee Campbell Redmond, 43, of Blacksburg, passed away Saturday, October 16th, 2021, at her residence. Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of Mark Deaugustine and Donna Deaugustine. Ms. Redmond is survived by three daughters, Courtney Guillory, Aerynn Guillory, and Caetlynn Guillory; two sons, Marcus Guillory Jr. and Nicloas Guillory; one sister, Ivy Ramvee; and her fiance', Chad Wilson. HARRY MALONE JACKSON Harry Malone Jackson, age 75, of Kings Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his home. He was born in Rutherford County, NC to the late William Howard and Essie McFalls Jackson. Harry was also preced- ed in death by his sister, Claudette Jackson Conner, his twin brother, Larry Salone Jackson., and his in-laws, John and Beulah Jones. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Jones Jackson, daughter, Laura Beth Jackson; brothers: J.T. "Sonny" Jackson and wife Brenda of Kings Mountain and Jerry Jackson and wife Desiree of Dallas; sister-in- law, Pat Jackson of Kings Mountain; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny Jones and wife Sandy of Kings Mountain and Carolyn Falls and husband Hal of Gastonia. Born in Cleveland County, NC on August 24, 1929, he was the son of the late David Zebulon Newton and Mary Alice Horton Newton. Mr. Newton served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers, DZ Newton, Jr., Douglas Newton, Coy Newton, Cletus Newton, Jasper Newton, Sr., Edward Newton, Wilburn Newton and Harding Newton and five sisters, Ruth Newton Lindsey, Jewel Newton, Emma Newton Willis, Hattie Newton Bridges and Etta Newton Hipps. Survivors include his wife, Joan Campbell Newton; son, Joel Newton and wife, Tammy of Casar; daughter, Alisa Goad and husband, Larry of Shelby; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
