Arrive between 8-8:30 a.m. Food typically begins distribution no later than 10 a.m. First-come, fi rst-served. There is a large quantity of food and typically great quality - a huge boost to any famiy's food budget for the month. Must be a Rutherford County resident and meet USDA income requirements. The Chase Corner Ministry is always seeking donations of green beans, corn, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, toiletries, laundry detergent and shampoo and razors and dish soap; garden food and fresh eggs. "Whether it is enough for one person or 20 we gladly receive donations of fresh produce," said director Cynthia Cooper. "It can make a huge difference even to one family in need." There is always a need for volunteers in the thrift store locat- ed at 1604 Chase High Road, Forest City.
