She was born in Cherokee County, SC, daughter of the late Coy Eugene and Sallie Louise Moore Black and was preceded in death by her hus- band, Lee Edward Mabry; a grandson; a brother, Calvin Black and her sisters, Goldie Owensby, Shirley Owens, Jean Detter, Joyce Styers, and Alma Heffner. Bobby Eric Goode Sr., age 56, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021. He was the son to the late Bobby Goode and a native of Rutherford County. Bobby was the widower to his late wife, Cheryl Goode and also preceded in death by one brother, Scott Goode and one sister, Kathy Goode. Bobby is survived by his mother, Coleen Holland Goode; three sons: Bobby Goode Jr., Dustin Goode and A.J. Goode; two sisters, Mary Goode Collins and Sherry Goode Dato; one brother Billy Goode; and six grandchildren. A memorial service was held July 10, 2021 in the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. WILLIS MARION CAMP, JR. Willis Marion Camp, Jr. otherwise known as "Billy" or "The Dream", age 73, passed away on July 9, 2021. Willis was born on May 15, 1948 to his parents the late Willis Marion "Bill" Camp, Sr. and the late Claudia Mae Jewel Camp in Shelby, NC. Mr. Camp served our coun- try in the US Army serving in Vietnam. In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by his step mother, Emma Brown- Camp; and brother-in-law, George "Bob" Brown. Those left to cherish Willis' memory are his only child, The Rev. Willis Marion Camp, III and his mother, Charlene Cuthbertson- Camp; his only biologically sibling, Marian Camp-Ross. His former wives: Daphanie Camp and Carol Forney. The service for Mr. Camp was held July 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Eskridge Grove Baptist Church. BUDDY RAY SMITH Mr. Buddy Ray Smith, 65, of Cherryville passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Buddy was born in Gaston County, NC on September 11, 1955 a son of the late Thomas Andrew Smith and Ellie Mae Maxwell Smith. Survivors include his daughter, Heather Smith Ford of Alexis; one grand- son and two sisters, Mary Ledbetter of Dallas and Diann Summey of Alexis. RALPH "SONNY" EUGENE DAVIS Ralph Eugene Davis, 66, of Gaffney, SC, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2021. He was born in Chester County, SC, the son of the late C.L. "Bud" and Joyce McCorkle Davis and was pre- ceded in death by his sister, Peggy Davis; his son, Darrell Davis; and three grandchil- dren. Bobby was born on August 29, 1946 in Gaston County, NC a son of the late Forest Franklin Wylie and Mary Lou Smith Wylie. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Canipe Wylie; two daughters, Robin Mitchem He was born December 26, 1954, in Cleveland County, son of the late Herman Queen Sr. and Hazel Carroll Queen. A funeral service was held July 14, 2021, at Eighth Street Church of God, 906 South 18th Street Bessemer City, officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Pendleton and the Rev. John Heath. Burial was held at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. Herman is survived by his sons, Joseph Herman Queen and Brian Ware; brother, Darrell Queen; and sisters, Phyllis Darby and husband, Hoyt and Teresa Whetstine and husband, Ray. TERRI L. McFARLIN Terri L. McFarlin, 64, of Shelby, NC, passed away on June 30, 2021. Born June 22, 1957 in Galesburg, IL, to Bill and Helen Edwardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Greg. She is survived by her sis- ter, Linda Thompson (Alpha, IL); husband, Brian (Shelby, NC); son, Danny (Wheaton, IL); daughter, Kaylee (Gilbert, Az); and two grandchildren. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Becky Porter Bolin; sister, Janice Phifer (Don); two grandsons; two great grandsons; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Troutman (Fred), Dorothy Costner, Mary Sanders (Albert), and Wanda Porter; and brother-in-law, Michael Porter (Louise). He was born on August 5, 1946, in Cleveland County, NC to the late Mary Ellen Sims. Mr. Sims served our coun- try in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. She was born on April 20, 1933 to the late Geneva Putnam Lovelace and Alonzo Lovelace. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Paul Mitchell Dover; sons, Steven and Ronald Dover; and daughter, Katheryn Jackson. Louise is survived by two daughters: Teresa D. Jackson and husband, Bishop Brady Jackson on Kings Mountain, and Kimberly Smith and hus- band, Jamey Sr. of Blacksburg, SC; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and a great- great granddaughter.
