A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late George Lancaster and Kathleen Hamrick Lancaster Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Beam and Margaret Murray; and broth- ers, Dan and Melvin Lancaster. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Cooper Lancaster of the home; sons, Michael Lancaster and wife, Merle of Greenville, SC and Gene Lancaster and wife, Julie of California, KY; daughter, Sandra Patrick and husband, Stephen of Gastonia; brother, William Lancaster and wife, Pat of Gaffney; two grandchil- dren; and a great grandson. Born in Morrisville, she was the wife of William Gene Byers and the daughter of the late David and Teresa Woodall. Born in Cleveland County on July 18, 1931, he was the son of the late Theodore Lemuel Beaver and Vangie Warlick Beaver. Mr. Beaver served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
