He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. Mr. Tesner served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Funeral service with military honors was held at April 20, 2021 at Clearview Baptist Church in Grover, NC. She was born on March 7, 1950 in Cleveland County, NC to the late T.B. Boyce and the late Nuell Bailey Boyce. She is survived by her hus- band, Thomas Whiteside; four daughters: Roberta Parrish of Forest City, and Teena Marie Burston of Kingstown, Shanna Greene, Ellenboro and Anika Burdine of Forest City; five sisters: Eunice Mintz (Harold), Patricia Spikes (Michael) Johnnie Boyce, all of Kingstown, Gloria Raper (Donald) of Clinton MD, and Penny Boyce of Shelby; three brothers: Thomas Boyce (Henrietta), Jerry Boyce both of Kingstown, T. L. (Pam) Shelby; two sis- ters-in-law Anita McEntyre (Steve), Leron Roberts (Layne) all of Ellenboro; thir- teen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were pri- vate. Burial took place in Webb First Baptist Church Cemetery, in Ellenboro, NC. AUDREY HUNT SANDERS Ms. Audrey Hunt Sanders, 77, of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. She was born on September 11, 1943 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Thomas Wilder Hunt and the late Margaret Ruth Olgesby Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James, Hunt, Charles Hunt, Herbert Hunt and Ronald Hunt and sisters, Doris Hunt and Betty Adams. She leaves behind two sisters, Margaret Young of Belmont, NC and Vernell Brown of Kings Mountain, NC; and one brother, Gilbert Hunt of Shelby, NC. The service for Ms. Sanders will be private April 15, 2021 at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. Burial took place at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery. ROBERT EUGENE SHOOK Mr. Robert Eugene Shook, 38, of Cherryville passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Robert was born in Cleveland County, NC on July 24, 1982 a son of Sue Bridges Cherry of Shelby and the late Craig Eugene Shook. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Holly Craft Shook of the home; a daughter, Keleigh Shook; two sons, John Robert Shook and Eli Shook; a brother, Ben Shook of Iron Station; and a grandfather of Shelby. A celebration of life ser- vice was held April 18, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Cherryville with Rev. Wayne Key officiating. Burial was private. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mooring is survived by three daughters, Saundra (Sean) Odom, of Shelby, Stephanie Mooring, of Spruce Pine, Sherri (David) Ford, of Kings Mountain; and one son, Devon (Legacy). Mrs. Mooring was preced- ed in death by her father, John Ryce.
