Everett was born on March 22, 1962 a son of Patricia Knighton Roy of Lincolnton and the late Everett Roy, Sr. In addition to his moth- er, survivors include his wife, Michelle Clare Roy of the home; two sons, Michael Singleton (Ana) of Shreveport, LA and Timothy Roy of Crouse; four daugh- ters, Megan Cooke of Lenoir; Anna Bolin of Shelby; Kathryn Shook (Austin) of Claremont and Valerie; two sisters, Glenda Henderson (Al) of Lincolnton; Sharon Stillwell (Frank) of Cherryville; and fourteen grandchildren. A celebration of life ser- vice was held April 11, 2021 at Waco Community Center. Burial was private. JEFF ESTEP Jeff Estep, age 46, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his residence. Jeff was born Saturday, June 8, 1974 to Judy Tate Estep who resides in Forest City and the late Michael Stephen Estep. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents and great- grandparents. Born in Catawba County on January 3, 1927, Hugh was the son of the late Rev. P. H. Brittain and Minnie Cline Brittain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Irene Borders Brittain. Mr. Plonk served our coun- try in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was prede- ceased by his father, Thomas Motley Plonk; his mother, Mary Louise McGuire Plonk; his brother, Thomas Motley Plonk, Jr.; his sister, Margaret Plonk Anderson; and his wife, Nancy Moore Plonk. He is survived by his sister, Mildred Plonk Folk (Charlotte); daughter, Mary and Richard Lucas (Roanoke); son, William and Beth Plonk (Durham NC); and seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
