Everett was born on March 22, 1962 a son of Patricia Knighton Roy of Lincolnton and the late Everett Roy, Sr. In addition to his moth- er, survivors include his wife, Michelle Clare Roy of the home; two sons, Michael Singleton (Ana) of Shreveport, LA and Timothy Roy of Crouse; four daugh- ters, Megan Cooke of Lenoir; Anna Bolin of Shelby; Kathryn Shook (Austin) of Claremont and Valerie; two sisters, Glenda Henderson (Al) of Lincolnton; Sharon Stillwell (Frank) of Cherryville; and fourteen grandchildren. A celebration of life ser- vice was held April 11, 2021 at Waco Community Center. Burial was private. JEFF ESTEP Jeff Estep, age 46, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his residence. Jeff was born Saturday, June 8, 1974 to Judy Tate Estep who resides in Forest City and the late Michael Stephen Estep. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents and great- grandparents. Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Stephanie Estep Phillips of Mooresboro;. BOBBY GENE CAMP Mr. Bobby Gene Camp, 80, of Waco, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. He was born on January 18, 1941 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Robert Camp and the late Evangelist Larlee Epps Camp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clora Baxter Camp; a son, Larry Baxter; three sisters, Frances Wright, Lucille Sweezy and Mary Lee Walker; a grandson; a great grandson; and three sisters-in-law and two broth- ers-in-law. Tim Brittain and wife Becky of Maggie Valley, NC; Todd Brittain and wife Michelle of Shelby, NC; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Born in Catawba County on January 3, 1927, Hugh was the son of the late Rev. P. H. Brittain and Minnie Cline Brittain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Irene Borders Brittain. Due to COVID-19, the immediate family will have a private graveside service. He was born September 10, 1931 in Duncan, SC to Roy James and Belle Stribling Ellison. Mr. Ellison served our country in the U.S. Army. Paul is survived by his wife, Pat; four sons, Paul Stribling Ellison, Jr., M.D., of Tavernier, FL, James Christopher Ellison (Lynne) of Charlotte, NC, Thomas Scott Ellison, M.D. (Sheila) of Pawleys Island, SC, and Patrick Page Ellison (Diane) of Raleigh, NC; ten grandchildren; sister, Virginia Evans of Cameron, SC; and brothers, Thomas Ellison, Ph.D. of Fort Mill, SC, and Jack Ellison of Black Mountain, NC. William McGuire Plonk, 95, passed away April 10, 2021 at King's Grant Retirement Community in Martinsville VA, where he lived for almost twenty years. He was born in Franklin NC on August 19, 1925. Mr. Plonk served our coun- try in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was prede- ceased by his father, Thomas Motley Plonk; his mother, Mary Louise McGuire Plonk; his brother, Thomas Motley Plonk, Jr.; his sister, Margaret Plonk Anderson; and his wife, Nancy Moore Plonk. He is survived by his sister, Mildred Plonk Folk (Charlotte); daughter, Mary and Richard Lucas (Roanoke); son, William and Beth Plonk (Durham NC); and seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
