Born in Shelby on May 30, 1954, she was the daugh- ter of Mrs. Catherine Bowen, and the late Mr. Harvey Bowen Sr. Anne is survived by her hus- band Mike Goss, her daugh- ter Elizabeth of Charlotte, NC; her son, Troy and wife Jana; her three grandchildren and her mother, Catherine Proctor Bowen of Shelby NC. She is also survived by her brother Harvey (Butch) Bowen, Jr. and wife Kathy, her brothers-in-law John Goss Jr., Robert (Bob) Goss and wife Tina, sister-in-law, Susan Carringi. The family has chosen to have a private service. A private service will be avail- able online through Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory website at a later date. They hope to be able to have a public celebration of life ceremony at a safer date and time. RAYMOND LEWIS EDWARDS Raymond "Ray" "Buff" Lewis Edwards, 74, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Furman and Lonia Mae Hudson Edwards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Walter Edwards. He is survived by his wife Loraine Edwards, sons, Randy Edwards of Mooresboro, and Ryan Edwards and his spouse Jennifer of Gaffney, SC; daughters, Melanie Houck and husband James of Lyman, SC, and Brittany Edwards of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Margaret Hamilton and husband Buddy of Shelby; and five grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Camps Creek Baptist HENRY DANIEL DODGE Henry Daniel Dodge, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC. He was born in Paterson, NJ, son of the late Henry Walter and Alice Stewart Dodge. He is survived by his wife Joan Rhinesmith Dodge, a son, Henry "Hank" Dodge Jr. and wife Tonya, Kings Mountain, NC. Daughters, Pamela Clayton and husband Edward B. Clayton, Boone, NC and Christina Dodge and husband Ed Naumann, Troutman, NC. Three grand- children and a great grand- child. RONALD LEE BUMGARDNER Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Bumgardner, 67, of Lawndale, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home. Born in Cleveland County, on August 16, 1953, he was a son of the late Oscar Harland Bumgardner and Fannie Lee Queen Bumgardner. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two half-brothers Lee Roy Bumgardner and Eugene Bumgardner and and two half-sisters Kathleen Hipps and Mary Sue Terry. He is survived by two sons Chris Bumgardner of Polkville and Andy Bumgardner and wife Wanda of Lawndale; a brother, Jerry Bumgardner and wife Judy; three sisters, Brenda Bridges of Polkville, Judy Gettys and husband Charles of Polkville and Gail Bumgardner of Monroe; and two grandchildren. Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Rex and Myrtle Harrill Ledbetter, his twin brother Lemuel Ledbetter, and sisters Peggy Parker and Elizabeth Lampe; and grandson. GRACE ELLEN HOMSLEY Grace Ellen Brooks Homsley entered into eternal life on Monday, January 11, 2021 at White Oak Manor in Shelby, NC. She was born on June 27, 1922 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Walker Brooks and the late Alma Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Homsley, Sr.; a sister, Katherine Borders and a brother, Grover Brooks.
