Born in Burke County, NC on February 9, 1953, he was the son of the late Teddy "Ted" Roosevelt Huffman and Josephine McNeilly Huffman. Survivors include his wife, Faye McNeely Huffman; a son, Derek Huffman of Casar; a daughter, Lynn Elmore and husband, Patrick of Lawndale; two grand- children; a brother, Reggie Huffman and wife, Mary of Casar. A Celebration of Life Service was held on February 1, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church, Casar with the Rev. Norris Willis officiating. Burial will be private. CHRISTINE HUFFMAN BRIDGES Christine Huffman Bridges, 68, of 525 Huffman Road, Blacksburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, January 28th, 2021, at Atrium Health Cleveland. Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Huffman and Mary Wilson Huffman. She was preceded in death by her brothers, J.R., Buddy Sr., Theodore Jr., Clyde, Ted, and Olin Huffman, and her sisters, Nancy Proctor and Marie Wilson. Mrs. Bridges is survived by her son, Adam Bridges; two grandchildren, one brother, Calvin Huffman; and one brother-in-law, Jim Wilson. Graveside services were held Monday, February 1st, 2021 at the Huffman Family Cemetery. SONDRA SUE BLANTON GORE Sondra Sue Blanton Gore, 72,of Blacksburg, went to be with Jesus, Thursday, January 28th from her resi- dence. She was the daughter of the late James Wells Blanton, Jr. and Evelyn Marjorie Spooner Blanton. She is preceded by a sister, Rendia B. Morgan, and infant brother James, who passed at birth and brother in law, Andy Wells. Survivors include her hus- band, Corbett Cline Gore, Jr., her sons; Corbett Cline Gore, III, Joshua Andrew Gore, and daughter Christy Gore Earp and husband, Jimmy. Six grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way. A sis- ter, Wanda B. Wells, and brother James W. Blanton, Jr. (Joan), Wilmington, NC, brother in law, Jimmy Morgan, Hampstead, NC, brother, Rev. Daniel and Sue Gore, Roseboro, NC and Rev. Ottis and Gail Gore, Fayetteville, NC. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rendia B. Morgan, and infant brother, James, who passed at birth and brother in law, Andy Wells.
