(June 3, 2020) hspaxlp PUBLIC NOTICE e U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the City of Petersburg to construct water utility improvements in Petersburg, Pike County, Indiana for Petersburg Water Capacity and Expansion Project. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, EDA is conducting an environmental assessment (EA) of the proposed project. e project consists of a new Raw Water Supply Well, Raw Water Transmission Main, new Water Treatment Plant and a new elevated Water Storage Tank. e purpose of the project is to improve the water infrastructure for improved treatment and capacity.
