Green, 78, of Oakland City, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at her home. She was born March 28, 1941, in Kansas, to the late Ralph and Ruth (Tromble) Smith. She had resided in Oak- land City for the past 30 years, coming from Kokomo, where she retired from GM Electronics. She was the rock of the entire family, including her children and grandchil- dren, and loved everyone in her own special way. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her goal was to see ev- eryone in Heaven some day. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronald Green, Sr.; three children, Ramona M. Green Ham- mel, of Oakland City, Ron- ald Green, Jr., of Petersburg, and Rodney Green, of Oak- land City; 10 grandchildren, Michael Hammel, Anthony Hammel, Jamia Jones, Ange- la Morrison, Claude Green, Ronnie Green III, Brandy Ellerbruck, Josh Green, Ash- ley Ellerbruck and Devon Green; 13 great-grandchil- dren; a sister, Rosie ( Jack) Blinn, of Kokomo; and a brother, Ray (Betty) Smith, of Wyoming. She was preceded in death by siblings, Reba Green, Roberta Slack and Robert Smith. A graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2020, at Somer- ville Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Walburn officiating. Burial will follow. He was born December 19, 1967, in Washington, to Denzil and Diana (Bartley) Frandsen. He is survived by his parents, Denzil and Diana Frandsen; brother, John (April) Frandsen; sister, Gloria Keith; nephews, Eric Frandsen and Colton Keith; niece, Stephanie Frandsen; and girlfriend, Janet Osgath- arp. VIRGINIA ROSE RICHARDSON Virginia Rose Richardson, 78, of Petersburg, passed away March 29, 2020, at her home. She was born October 19, 1941, in Indianapolis, to Ir- vin and Nellie (Soverns) Cummings. She was a good home- maker, wife for 59 years and mother to her children. She will never be forgotten. She is survived by her husband, Loren J. Richard- son; daughter, Kathy Ann Richardson; sons, Loren Daniel Richardson and Don- ald Allen Richardson; grand- children, Dalton Richard- son, Hallie King and Tan- ner Richardson, all of Pike County, and ShaeBreann Richardson and Chandler Richardson, of Petersburg; great grandchildren, Ellie Rose King and Gwendolyn Wagner. DELORES ANN BURCH Delores Ann Burch, 85, of Petersburg, passed away at 4 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Memorial Hos- pital and Health Care Cen- ter in Jasper. She was born January 29, 1935, in Hartwell, Ind., to James Roscoe and Dorothy (Eads) Elder. She worked in a manage- rial position in retail sales; was a member of the Algiers United Methodist Church and the Lion's Club; and was a talented seamstress and avid gardener. She is survived by six children, Diana Kay "Katy" (Mick) Aldridge, of Winslow, Denise Rae Burch, of Algiers, Deborah Faye Burch-Vossah, of Coryd- on, Penn., Darla Gay Perry, of Granite Falls, N.C., Don- ald Kevin (Sherrie) Burch, of Somerville, and Darwin Keith (Theresa) Burch, of Lake Station; 21 grandchil- dren; 25 great-grandchil- dren; and one great-great- grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daugh- ters, Deanna Mae Durfee and Delia Jae Burch; two sons-in-law, David Durfee and Micheal Perry; and in- fant siblings, James Roscoe Elder and Etta Elsie Elder. Private funeral services will be on Sunday, March 29, 2020, at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Hunt- ingburg, with burial to fol- low at Cup Creek Cemetery. Condolences may be shared online at www.nassandson. com. GARY F. SUT TON Gary F. Sutton, 85, passed away on March 27, 2020. He was born the son of Victor A. Sutton and Chloe Phillips Sutton on June 12, 1934. His parents are both deceased. He married Sha- ron Rose Boger on Novem- ber 24, 1954. They were married for 66 years. He was raised in the Bow- man community, going to grade school there, then graduated from Petersburg High School in 1952. He farmed all his life and al- so worked at Old Ben Coal Company for 26 years be- fore retiring. He served in the 3rd Armored Division of the United States Army in Germany. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Petersburg, Masons, Hadi Shrine and Scottish Rite. He enjoyed working with his hands, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Surviving are his wife, Sharon; his son, Gary Joe (Ann) Sutton; his daugh- ter, Susan ( Jeff ) May, of Evansville; grandchildren, Nicole Sutton, of Peters- burg, and Sarah ( Jose) Mo- ta and Christopher (Cory) Sutton, both of Evansville; a step-granddaughter, Had- ley May, of Evansville; one niece, Carol Sue Sutton, of Petersburg; and one neph- ew, Greg Coleman, of Pe- tersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John William Sutton; sister, Geor- gia Mae Coleman; and neph- ew, John Phillip Sutton. Jones, 79, of Jas- per, passed away at 5:04 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at his home. He was born Decem- ber 1, 1940, in Velpen, to Paskel and Helen (McClure) Jones; and married LuCin- da Gutgsell on February 15, 1974. He attended grade school in Velpen and graduated from Otwell High School. He was a career truck driv- er, and member of Jasper Moose Lodge #1175 and the Huntingburg Fraternal Or- der of Eagles. He is survived by his wife, LuCinda "Cindi" Jones, of Jasper; five children, John (Marla) Jones, of Coe, Jer- ry Jones, of Oakland City, Joseph (Sara) Jones, of Washington, Lydia (Mike) Jones-Horvath, of India- napolis, and Angela Jones, of Vincennes; one brother, Sam Jones, of Duff; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister- in-law, Janice Jones, who passed away on August 7, 2019. Private services will be on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, with burial to follow at Augusta Cemetery. "LUCKY" LUTZ Donald G. "Lucky" Lutz, 90, of Oakland City, IN en- tered rest on Friday, March 20, 2020, at Golden Living Center in Petersburg. He was born on Dec. 29, 1929, in Danville, Ill., to George and Mary (Brown) Lutz. He had served in the Unit- ed States Navy and was very proud of serving his coun- try. JOHN WAYNE WILSON II John Wayne Wilson II, 50, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. He was born in Washing- ton on July 29, 1969, to John Wayne Wilson and Brenda (Hedges) Hovis. He enjoyed hunting, espe- cially for deer, and was an outdoors man. He loved his guns and knives, and being a collector of baseball cards, beer cans and Hot Wheels. He loved his kids dearly and his greatest joy in life was being a father. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Kristina Elaine Wilson, of Princeton; mother, Brenda ( Jim) Hovis, of Evansville; children, Colton Wilson, Darion Wilson and Callie J. Wilson; stepson, Jersalem Howard; and siblings, Te- resa Garland, of Winslow, Shane Wilson, of Illinois, Jarold Whittington, of New- burgh, and Tracy Nall, of No- blesville. He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Lau- ra Wilson; and sister, Tonya Wilson; and both maternal and paternal grandparents. There will be no services at this time.
