Seventh and eighth grade students in Mrs. Nalley's Technology Education class tested their rockets they made in the Rocketry and Space Module last week. Students learned many things about rocket and space travel, including the his- tory of Rocketry and Space Exploration in the United States and the main stages of rocket flight while building the rockets. Left: Seventh and eighth grade students in Mrs. Nalley's Technology Education class raced their CO2 Cars. The win- ner of the 2019 C02 Race is Griffin Correll, with an average time of 1.038 seconds. His fastest time of the morning was under 1 second .996; 2nd place goes to Cole Parks' car with 1.077 seconds; 3rd place to Isaac Marchino with 1.085; and very close 4th Sam Nelson with 1.091. Mrs. Hartke's second graders became deep space telecommunication engineers during their Turning Tumble S.T.E.M. lab.
