Born in Mecklenburg County on July 14, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Ward "C.W." and Ruby Case Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by a son, Ronald Wesley Blackburn; a brother, Freddie Ramsey; a sister-in-law, Barbara Callahan; and a brother-in- law, Tony Stewart. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Blackburn; a daughter, Amy Blackburn of Shelby; two granddaugh- ters; a great granddaughter; two brothers, Gene Ramsey and wife, Jadine of Shelby and Blaine Ramsey and wife, Darla of Statesville; a sister, Marilyn Ramsey of Shelby; four sisters-in-law, Kathy Dixon and Debbie Ramsey, Gerane Rippy and husband, Richard of Blacksburg SC and Renee Stewart of Kings Mountain; and a brother-in- law, Brevard Callahan. DONALD JEAN ARROWOOD Mr. Donald Jean Arrowood, age 87, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on April 5, 2019. He was the son of the late Herbert and Lokie Arrowood. Left to cherish his memo- ry are his daughters, Annette Dalton and Amelia Webb (Thomas); eight grandchil- dren and fifteen great grand- children; and sister, Jerleen McEntire (Jesse). In addition to her par- ents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Harris Arrowood; children, Alan Arrowood and Anthony Arrowood; and brother, Bruce Arrowood. Funeral services were held at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. Burial fol- lowed in the church cem- etery. Crowe's Mortuary is serv- ing the family. BARNEY CRAIG BEAM Mr. Barney Craig Beam, age 75, of Lawndale, NC, passed away on April 4, 2019. He was a son of the late Charles Hassell Beam and Selma Frances Grigg Beam. Mr. Beam is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Ann Denton Beam; broth- er, Reagan Beam and wife, Libby; mother-in-law, Doris Hamrick; two brothers-in-law, Douglas Hamrick and wife, Karen, and Benny Hamrick and Grace Costner; and sis- ter-in-law, Paula Jones and husband, Marty. The funeral service was held at Fallston Baptist Church. The burial followed the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston, NC. MORRIS "JUNIOR" HENSON Mr. Morris "Junior" Henson, age 86, of Rutherfordton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2019. He was born to the late Oscar Henson and Dera Butler Henson. Mr. Henson served our country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was pre- ceded in death by his wife, Betty Adams Henson; one sister, Edna Grant; and six brothers, Herman, Gene, Collis, Clarence, Ralph and Grady Henson. He is survived by a "Goddaughter", Deb Owens of Waves, NC and a host of nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held at Holly Springs Baptist Church. She was born in Cleveland County, NC to the late Hoyle and Mattie Shuford Ponder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Donald Goforth and her sis- ters, Joyce Ledford Mauney and Patsy Ponder Reynolds. Mrs. Goforth is survived by her daughter, Janet Dee Goforth Tindall and husband, Gregg of Kings Mountain, NC; a granddaughter; and sisters, Treva Mullinax and Linda Appling of Kings Mountain, NC Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC.
