Arts & Entertainment Page 4 February 1, 2013 'Movie 43' hilarious yet vulgar Owen Ritter Staff Writer "Movie 43" is a hilariously controversial movie that is not for the whole family. This film is not for everyone; one must go through the spiritual journey with an open mind and the thought process of a 13 year old boy who just hit puberty. This is not a movie for those who can't release their inner immaturity that we all have. Late teens and young adults are the main audience focus that all 12 directors were aiming at. Even adults may find "Movie 43" an entertaining joyride. As stated before, this movie is very controversial and offensive. This may lead to hurt feelings or bad thoughts about the several directors, but people need to realize that "Movie 43", among many other offensive and controversial comedies, is only here to make us laugh and come together as a human species. This is definitively http://d not a film out to hurt or scar anyone, only to bring happiness and laughter. No one can escape the wide range of race, gender, and even age that "Movie 43" makes fun of, but one must remember, that is all it is, just simple fun. If you are easily offended, do not go and see this movie. "Movie 43" is not a family film either, it is rated R for a reason. Watching this movie with your parents or grandparents may be Just a simple game of getting the squirrels to the end "Noble Nutlings" is a new app developed by Boomlagoon. "Noble Nutlings" is a fun physics-based app, available for smart phones. In the game, there is a cart with three squirrels inside it. Your goal is to get them to the end of the track with them still inside the cart. You are then rated based on your time, with three stars being the most you can get, and one star being the least. You are automatically given one star just for finishing the level. On the track, there are obstacles in your way. There are stacks of wooden boards and a pink creature, which you get tokens for if you run them over. Every track is different and you never know what to expect. You also get tokens on the track. There is a store where you can n.com http://dailytrojan.com 'Noble Nutlings' physics based app for everyone Sarah Bartlett Staff Writer aily troja and maybe even of all time. This movie stars many wellknown actors and actresses, including Dennis Quaid, Seth MacFarlane, Hugh Jackman, Emma Stone and many more. From Johnny Knoxville kidnapping a leprechaun for his roommates birthday, to a cat named Beezel who will use 8 of his 9 lives to get rid of his owners' girlfriend, Movie 43 stands apart from the rest, breaking new ground in the land of comedy. If anyone wants to see "Movie 43", please remember that it may conflict with your ideas and pleasures, but it is only a movie and everyone should know that. buy different kinds of wheels and containers to customize your cart with your tokens. Some of them make your cart faster and less stable, but others make your cart slower and more stable. You can also connect to Facebook and compare your scores to your friends' scores. I, personally, enjoyed the game very much. It is very well-designed and gives you that feeling of accomplishment when you get three stars. On the track, there are also boxes of TNT that give you a speed boost when you run into them. At first, I thought that they were quite annoying, but once I learned how to use them to my advantage they were very useful and helped my time. Another thing about the game is that it goes against the laws of physics. At some points, on the track, your cart ends up going upside-down in mid-air. If this were real life, the squirrels would fall out, but they stay in the cart. As much as I love 'Noble Nutlings', I do have a few complaints. Another feature is that you have a tank of jalapeno juice to help boost your speed. At first, it seems like a lot, but as you use it on the tracks, you quickly learn that the tank runs out of jalapeno juice really quick. What annoys me is that the only way to obtain more jalapeno juice is to buy more with your tokens in the store. Overall, I enjoyed this app very much and I highly recommend downloading it. "Movie 43" is full of blunt sexual humor. The film is based around a desperate man who will do anything and everything in his power to sell his movie script. As he reads off and explains his script, it results in many inappropriately out of this world sketches. As you watch the credits role, your brain will feel like mush, unable to comprehend what was is said. This could be the most ridiculous movie of the decade A movie so ridiculously funny you will never forget it Bluffer Staff Pick 'The Wedding Singer' (1998) Mitch Fox Staff Writer The movie "The Wedding Singer", starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore is a great flick for you and your friends to watch at anytime. This hilarious story describes how two people, Robbie Hart, played by Adam Sandler, and Julia, played by Barrymore, are both engaged, but to the wrong people. Robbie Hart is a wedding singer and at the place where he does his gigs is a new waitress named Julia. At first Robbie's friend says that he is going to try and pursue her but fails after a few attempts. Everything seems to be going fine with Robbie and his fiancé until the day of their marriage when she decides to not show up to the wedding and leaves Robbie hanging. As most might assume Robbie is devastated about the brake up and is pretty depressed for a while after this. It even starts to affect his job as a wedding singer until he finally decides to take a break from his work. During this break is where him and Julia come closer. Julia is soon to be married to a stereotype rich man that only cares about himself. After Robbie finds himself on a double date with Julia, her soon to be husband, and Julia's friend, Robbie finds out that the husband has been cheating on Julia. Although Robbie likes Julia he knows it wouldn't be right for him to tell Julia about the affair. It was on Robbie's grandmothers 50th anniversary with his grandpa when he realizes that Julia has to be the one for him, but the only problem is that Julia and her husband left to Las Vegas that day to get married. So Robbie gets on the first plane he can but has to use his friends credit card to buy first class tickets because that is the only thing that is open. On the plane he is talking to Billy Idol about why he is going to Vegas until he realizes that Julia and her husband are on the same plane but in the coach. So Robbie grabs the microphone on the plane and sings a song that he recently wrote to Julia. This eventually leads to Robbie and Julia getting married. This movie will fill you with laughs. I recommend to everyone to watch this movie if you haven't yet.
