Her homeroom brought in the most items for the Generations Basket. They celebrated with cupcakes and drinks this week during homeroom. This group included Jaydon Clark, Dylan Charles, Gabby Collins, Ella Adams and Taylor Goscin- iak. Pike Central Business Professionals Association (BPA) members that qualified for the State competi- tion in March are, left to right: Andrew Clark, Coutney Fair, Emily Hill, Jenna Horrall, Sean Keith, Mad- ison Warner and Kyle Williams. MENU Thursday, January 3: Chicken sandwich, crispy seasoned fries, green beans and fruit. Friday, January 4:Meat- ball sub, sweet potato fries, broccoli florets, garden sal- ad and fruit. Monday, January 7: Two cheesy bread sticks, mari- nara sauce, steamed cauli- flower and fruit. Tuesday, January 8: Chicken, cheese and rice, tortilla chips, baby carrots, refried beans and fruit. Wednesday, January 9: Hot dog on bun, crispy sea- soned fries, broccoli with cheese sauce, jello and fruit. Eight Pike Central BPA members qualify for state Eight Pike Central High School BPA students qualified for state competition following a November 30 regional con- ference at Ivy Tech in Evansville. Three of the eight that competed against other regional schools qualified in two areas of business during the event. Pike Central BPA Advisor Dana Deffendoll said, "The students worked hard and represented well, earning eight spots at the state conference in March. If the students place well at state, they could earn a spot at National which is held in Anaheim California this year, setting a lofty and exciting goal." Double state qualifiers were: Sydney Keith, second in Economic Research and first in Medical Office Procedures. Madison Warner, third in Basic Office Systems and Proce- dures and first in Intermediate Word Processing. Kyle Wil- liams, third in Business Law and Ethics and fourth in Le- gal Office Procedures. Single state qualifiers include: Andrew Clark, Court- ney Fair, Emily Hill, Janna Horrall and Sean Keith. Syd- ney Keith, Madison Warner and Kyle Williams were dou- ble qualifiers. Clark was third in Human Resource Manage- ment, Fair was second in Presentation Management, Hill was ninth in Medical Office Procedures, Horrall was first in Economic Research and Sean Keith was sixth in Medi- cal Office Procedures.
