Carli Foster and Weston Russell were excited to get their goody bags from JTFD. Buddies Canton Capehart and Wyatt Nolan share some laughs at recess. Students had to reach their AR goal that was set by results from the STAR test and each student has nine weeks to reach their goal. Each winner won candy and a drink. Fire Prevention Week at OMA, Mrs. Hartke's second grade class had tons of fun at their field trip to the Jefferson Township Fire Department. Mrs. Julie West Top reader Xavery Weisman along with Eli Arnold and Brenton Fryrear won the wrap the teacher as a mummy. Top AR class- room readers were- Blaine Barnett, Xavery Weis- man, Michael Woods, Lillian Mann, Aidan Col- lins and Hannah Rainey. Billy Joe Like works hard to wrap Mrs. Chris- tine Waddell as a mummy. Doug Mounts and Kyle Eckert demonstrated with some tools during Fire Prevention Week. Students stood back in amusement! Very educational day at the Jefferson Township Fire Department. Pike Central MENU Thursday, October 25: NO SCHOOL, Fall Break. Friday, October 26: NO SCHOOL, Fall Break. Monday, October 29: Cheese or pepperoni pizza, potato wedges and tossed salad. Tuesday, October 30 : Pork BBQ sandwich or cheeseburger, lettuce, toma- to, salad and broccoli with cheese. Wednesday, October 31: Halloween chicken nug- gets, dinner roll, mashed po- tatoes and California blend veggies. Menu subject to change. Milk choices offered daily. Assorted fruits and veggies offered daily.
