'Chicken scream' which was created by Perfect Tap Games is an interesting game to say the least. In this game the main focus on how to play is using your voice instead of tapping. Which is a happy change from the normal games Perfect Tap adds. This is a new turn of events for Perfect Tap Games especially since they specialize in Tap Games for obvious reasons. Your voice controls the actions of the chicken in many ways, for example, no noise will stop the chicken from moving. Speaking softly will make the chicken walk normally, and screaming will make the chicken jump so that you may efficiently jump over obstacles and avoid falling into the water below. store some people described the game as something that could easily replace Flappy Bird. However, whether that may be true is up to the players. Headegg290, a player of 'Chicken Scream' and a Google Play user, helps give away a nice little cheat by saying, "I found a cheat. Play some music in the background and just keep sliding the sensitivity bar back and forth. It's actually more fun in my opinion." If you are up for that challenge totally go for it, I know I will try it next time. So far there has been over 3 Million downloads for this game across the world and I wholeheartedly believe that this could continue to grow over time. I know that my siblings are addicted to the game just as much as I am now and my parents probably Although this may disrupt the people around you, this can actually be extremely hilarious to watch for both yourself and those with a reasonable sense of humor. The rating of the game is a 4.4 out of 5 stars and my first introduction to this game was actually through a post on Facebook of a girl playing it without really knowing the rules and it was hilarious watching her get so into yelling at her phone in order that she could continue winning each round and collecting points. At first I didn't know if I would like the game because I didn't recognise which game it was and because I'm not fond of tapping games but plot twist it's not a tapping game which was a pleasant surprise! So I actually t h o r o u g h l y e n j o y e d playing. 'A Little Something Different' is the romantic comedy book that young adults look for when they want a good laugh and sweet plot line. The book comes from the viewpoints of fourteen people, including a hungry squirrel, a grouchy bench and a nosy but loveable creative writing teacher. The story revolves around two college students, Gabe and Lea, who share a creative writing class. To everyone around the pair, they're perfect for each other. They order the same food, they go to all the same parties and restaurants and know all of the same pop culture references. Not only do they understand each other's personality completely, everyone is rooting for Gabe and Lea to start a relationship. The Starbucks barista who is annoyed by most everyone and everything in her job still cheers Gabe onto talk to Lea, the bus driver tells his wife about the two kids who get off at the same bus stop and the kid in Gabe and Lea's creative writing class who hates all of his classmates secretly wishes for the two to get together simply to stop listening to their flirting. The only problem is that Lea is quiet and reserved and Gabe has problems from the past he still struggles with, so they remain at an awkward relationship of friendship and strangers. Both like each other but don't know how to express themselves, frustrating everyone around them. Adding to the fact, the year in creative writing is almost over, and Gabe and Lea will soon have no chance or reason to talk to each other. If you have nothing left to do in your spare time, I highly recommend this book if you want a romantic yet quirky laugh-out- loud read. Sandy Hall gives us a simplistic, yet inspiring, read to try a little something different. Fun and intriguing book to read. think we are crazy due to all the screaming that happens. If you are still unsure on whether this game is for you then I suggest looking up reactions on the game or youtubers who play 'Chicken Scream.' There are many levels that you can play and with help of creativity you can find ways to make this game more challenging as well as more fun! This game is a new force to pay attention to especially if you are a loud person or someone who knows someone who enjoys to be loud. Stop stressing so much and take out all that built up energy to playing now. Chicken Scream brings humor to a new level with it's voice Rebeccah Smith Staff Writer 'Super Mario Run' is a Mario themed Nintendo app that hit iPhone app stores on December 15th, 2016, and Android app stores on March 22, 2017. 'Super Mario Run' is the first game Nintendo has developed and published on phone app stores. There has only been a few cases where Nintendo games have been released for technology without their label. It was only up until recently when Nintendo started to make games for the mobile platform when they saw their sales dropping by more than two hundred million. 'Super Mario Run' is classified as a side-scrolling, auto-running game because Mario, when playing a level, runs automatically and the screen moves with him. The app includes the main traditions of other Mario games: Princess Peach invites Mario over to bake a cake, Bowser kidnaps her, then Mario has to save her. 'Super Mario Run' keeps a player's interest in the game. There are always new obstacles to get over and there are multiple side quests you can participate in. You are also able to play classic characters like Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Toadette, and the crowd favorite, Yoshi. However, Nintendo did leave a catch. Once you play the first four levels of the app, to access any of the other levels, you will have to pay a fee of ten dollars. It's a huge value for one game that can only offer so much and that has been most of the complaints from players so far. For the short time that I was able to play 'Super Mario Run' before being blocked by the ten dollar fee, I enjoyed it. The game was interesting and it challenged you in every level making you want to try your hardest. I would recommend it to most of my friends, but also mention how it's not worth the ten dollars. 'Female Of The Species' is a newer book that caught my eye. At first, it seemed like it might be in the feminist genre when it came to literature, but I was wrong. This book is gritty and completely real when in comes to describing the stages of losing someone. It catches every aspect that comes with the wretched grief and the need for revenge. The main character's sister was murdered, which is revealed in the description, so no spoilers. However, it describes the dire need for her to avenge her sister's death and it's sad. It completely consumes her, which I'm guessing some of us have been there. It really struck a chord in me. The main character completely lost herself in the process, and it's something you see everyday. Now this book isn't all just darkness. An extremely strong bond is forged between three women as the main character seeks her road to revenge. It reveals how true friendship should be. You accept your friend for all of their rough edges and you'll stand by their side even when they hit rock bottom. The book doesn't just revolve around the sister however. Each character has a struggle in their life that they must overcome. This book brings light to how you don't always know what someone is going through, so don't pack it on. Although, there is a quote printed in this book that revolves around the theme the most, "The female of the species is more deadly than the male." This goes into how the main character, a woman, rage was way deadlier than the murder's strength. When women get together, they use their wit and intelligence to take out whoever they please. The book was absolutely incredible. 'Female Of e Species' several different audiences 'Power Rangers,' directed by Dean Israelite, was humorous causing much laughter in the audience. The scenes went along smoothly by slowly introducing the characters. It continued to escalate to bigger scenes that took you by surprise and caught your interest. I enjoyed this movie, but the evil Green Ranger played by Elizabeth Banks was creepy. Her character made me feel uncomfortable. One of the most memorable scenes from the movie was when the original song 'Power Rangers' played during a bat- tle scene. It didn't last that long, but it still caught my attention. Overall, I wouldn't mind rewatching this film. Facebook's pathetic attempt of recreating a social media app. Aly Smith Staff Writer Different' humors Very dark and thrilling. It's a defi- nite read! discloses a powerful story By: Stephanie Pena Makes you laugh
