She was born on February 23, 1946 to the late Mack Webb and Zelvie Webb. JAMES EDWARD BLANTON James Edward Blanton, 72, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 29, 2022. James was born on August 4, 1950 in Montgomery Co. NC to the late Buron Blanton and Sarah Dover Blanton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert "Rabbit" Blanton and sister, Diane Hayes. Mr. Blanton served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his daughter, Rita Blanton Cunningham, of Fulton, MS; a granddaughter; a great grandson; sister, Vickie Blanton, of Clover, SC. He was born on August 30, 1934 to John Reid Lutz, Sr. and Madge Marie Whisnant Lutz in Fallston. Mr. Lutz served our coun- try in the U.S. Navy. Steve was born in Mecklenburg County on June 7, 1963. TAMMY CLINE Tammy Cline, age 50, of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022. Tammy was born Friday, February 25, 1972 in Cleveland County to Pat Hastings Dedmon who resides in Forest City and the late James Lamar Cline. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents. Besides her mother, sur- vivors include her children, Hunter Nix (Madison Hendrix) of Shelby and Savannah Brigman of the home; step- father, Alton Dedmon of Forest City; maternal grand- mother; brothers, Adam Dedmon of Forest City and Shane Dedmon (Sherry) of Chesnee, SC; and two grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Connie Swofford (Nelson) of Greenville, SC; a son, Roger Diffenderfer (Lisa) of Blacksburg, SC; four grand- children and 5 great-grand- children.
