Denver and Marylee Sullivan went to Princeton on Friday afternoon to visit with friends at the Waters, Frank Tolbert and Francis Sullivan. Then they went out to lunch before returning home. Walt and Marcella Robb went to Union for breakfast on Tuesday morning and then went to Princeton to The Waters to visit with Georgie Blanton. Last week visitors of Margie Wheeler in Hazleton were her son, Bob Sloan, of Francisco, and Becky Newton of Union. Friday afternoon visitors of Jenny Collins were her grandson, Shane Collins and friend Eldon. Recent visitors of Beulah White in Union were Jenna and Mike White. Larry Pauley took his mother, Hazel Pauley, to Evansville to a doctor���s appointment on Thursday morning. This past week Ruth Morrison talked to her niece, Dixie Gourley of Mt. Carmel, who is home recovering and able to get around with the use of a walker and to her sister, Alice Dusenberry in Michigan. A.J. and Melissa Alldredge and son Wyatt visited with Debbie and Terry Tharp on Friday afternoon. Jenna White fell on some ice last Sunday in her driveway and hurt her knee. She is getting around slowly on crutches so keep her in your prayers. Marge Tharp and her son Terry Tharp and Elizabeth ate supper in Petersburg on Friday evening. Leon and Alice Whittington went to Evansville last week to meet up with her niece and nephew for dinner. James and Inez King of near Union went to a Valentine party on Friday evening at the Ayrshire Valley General Baptist Church. The party was hosted by the youth group of the church for the seniors. The youth were servers for the meal and later the group played games. Bill and Marada Willis went to Jasper and Vincennes last week and then ate lunch at different restaurants each day. Sharon Rumble of Union enjoyed a visit on Saturday from Katie Jo Rumble, Judi Hill and Charlie Maxwell and they stayed for lunch. Later Katie Jo and Charlie went to the Gibson County Fairgrounds for the cattle show, where his granddaughter is showing her cows. John and Marie Tolbert went to Vincennes on Saturday for dinner. Audrene Cook of Hazleton and Don McKibben went to the Moose Lodge in Vincennes on Friday evening for supper. Past week visitors of Janie Arnold, a resident at Golden Living Health Care, were her husband, Jr. Arnold and Bonnie and Steve Bottoms of Monroe City. Bob and Betty Chaser are very thankful for a successful surgery on Bob. He is home and able to sleep at night without any pain meds. Saturday visitors were their daughter, Dedra White of Rockport and another daughter and son-inlaw, Myria and Jerry Hack of Indianapolis. Ball Sign-ups The Hazleton Ball League will conduct walk-in sign-ups at the Hazleton Town Hall on Fri. Feb. 15 6-8 p.m. and Sat. Feb. 16 from 10 a.m-2 p.m. CST. We will be signing up boys and girls for the following leagues. Tee-ball ages 3 to 5 (children under 3 must have a parent on field with them at all times) have a fee of $20, Pee-Wee ages 6-9, Little League ages 1013 and Youth Co-ed softball ages 8-14 with a fee of $25.
