He has worked for newspapers off and on since high school, and was a member of the Daily News staff in the late '90s. He has been teaching Theater, Television and Film courses at Shasta College since 1995. Bryon Burruss Laurie Dana is a marketing com- munications consultant with a spe- cial interest in the tourist and enter- tainment industries. She grew up in Tehama County and returned here because she thought it was the best place to raise her own children. Over the past 20 years she has enjoyed high level marketing posi- tions at Fourth Shift Software, Digital Technology Service and Rolling Hills Casino, where she served as marketing manager before opening her own agency. Thanks to the Internet, she is able to provide services to clients in a variety of industries throughout the United States as well as Tehama Country. An award winning copywriter and graphic designer, her portfolio includes work completed for Chevron Pipeline, Jonny Cat, Flavia, Exxon, and many others.
