Liam tries to apologize, but Hope doesn't accept and she tears up the wedding pa- pers. Meanwhile, Ridge and Taylor accuse Bill of taking advantage of the situation to meet his own ends. Brooke blames Steffy for taking ad- vantage of Liam before his wedding, but Steffy sees things differently. Later, Hope tells Steffy that she can have Liam, but she doesn't like the response she gets and they have a heated argument. Liam seeks advice from Brooke, who ensures him that destiny will guide Hope back to him. Brooke and Taylor bicker about whether Steffy is up to no good. Taylor stands up for Steffy and asks a big favor from Brooke. Liam tries to set things right with Hope one more time and he begs for forgiveness. Hope makes a decision, but Brooke warns that she is just clearing the way for Steffy to step in. Stef- fy and Liam are drawn to each other. General Hospital Carly digs deeper into Todd and Johnny's lives in order to figure out what secretes they've been keeping. After his confrontation with Todd, Johnny worries that his secret will be exposed. Sam tries to break into Todd's safe and Ja- son offers to help her find what she's looking for. Later, Sam corners Todd in an at- tempt to finally get the truth out of him. John is disturbed by something he finds out. Trey and Kristina grow even closer while Starr wavers in her support for Johnny. He tries to squeeze more money out of her and hints at some- thing more between them. Victor proposes to Sharon and they fly to Las Vegas to get hitched. Sharon threatens to call off the wedding when presented with a pre-nuptial agreement, but Victor ex- plains that she'll get a settle- ment if they divorce so she signs it. Ashley finds out that Jack intends to take over when Jabot and Beauty of Nature merge, but she prom- ises to fight for her position. Jack tells Nikki he wants to talk to Kyle about them get- ting married in person, but Victor already let news of their engagement slip. Angry for not being told sooner, Kyle ignores Jack's call. Abby apol- ogizes to Katherine for stag- ing her kidnapping and offers a check to make up for any loss of donations as a result.
