AUCTIONEER'S NOTE: 30 years ago when Ralph & I started in the auction business we were pleased to acquaint ourselves with a couple (Billy & Eugenia Depriest) that helped us with identifying and preparing for an auction. The knowledge that these two had was unbelievable and they shared gladly with us. We always said the the Depriest's were our mentors and now it is with great pleasure that we have the opportunity to sell their worldly possessions. Billy retired from the Navy, worked with Bell South in Winston Salem and returned to his native Cleveland County to operate Palmer House on Hwy 10 between Polkville & Casar. After they sold this they moved to a smaller home in western Cleveland County. Mrs. Depriest is deceased & Billy is living in the Washington DC area. Their antiques, glassware, porcelain & china collection is very unique. There are 20 pieces of Stickley Furniture, 30 pieces of Flow Blue, numerous antique hand decorated plates (some signed), Rugs, antique furniture, tools and on & on.
