The most recent meeting of the Women's Network was a spring luncheon held at Deer Brook Golf Club and sponsored by Foothills Spotlight Magazine. Attendees enjoyed a program entitled, "Women and Lifelong Learning," by speaker Shannon Kennedy, Executive Vice President of Instruction and Student Development at Cleveland Community College. Shannon is the Chamber's most recent recipient of the Athena Award. The distinguished Athena Award is presented to Cleveland County business woman each year at the Chamber's Annual Banquet.
