By Alden Heuring SG Star-Times Staff Reporter aheuring@sgstartimes.com If you need something real- ly special for that special some- one, the Goldsmith at 205 N. Em- bree Street in Princeton has what you're looking for. The Goldsmith, owned by Gibson County resident Dan Rainbolt, has a huge selection of fine jewelry, Seiko and Pulsar watches, clocks and charms, and everything in between. They also carry Fireflies motion diamonds, which Rainbolt said is a big trend right now. "The diamond actually moves in the mounting," he said. Another new trend this year are two-diamond engagement rings. Rainbolt said the two diamonds symbolize the betrothed couple, and are just starting to gain wide- spread appeal. The Goldsmith is one of the best fine jewelry stores in the re- gion, and offers everything from diamond engagement rings, wed- ding sets and wedding bands, to diamond earrings and birthstone rings. It's been in business for 24 years, and has been in its current location on Embree Street next to the railroad tracks for nine years. "Our merchandise includes something for everyone and every budget," Rainbolt said. "We try to offer an everyday low price all year round... Our everyday prices beat a lot of places' sale prices." A big part of the Goldsmith's relationship with its customers is Rainbolt's repair service. "I take pride in my work and en- sure those who entrust me with their possessions to do quality work and have it right the first time," Rainbolt said. Making re- pairs on jewelry, and keeping stock and ordering items for cus- tomers, keeps Rainbolt busy every day of the week. In addition to their Seiko and Pulsar watches and clocks, and Rembrandt charms, the Gold- smith offers Black Hills gold. There's also an extensive selec- tion of mother's rings, pearl jew- elry, diamond necklaces and jew- elry sets with colored diamonds. The Goldsmith is sure to have a great stocking stuffer for some- one on your list, and sales associ- ates Janice Byrns and Wendy By- rns can help you find it. Layaway is available at the Gold- smith, and items can be ordered and received in a matter of days. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The store will also be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Goldsmith owner Dan Rainbolt wants to be your jeweler this Christmas season. Dan and his staff can help you find the perfect present at the Goldsmith, and he does jewelry repair in the shop, too. Alden Heuring photo. The Goldsmith offers a wide variety of jewelry, watches, clocks and more. Janice Byrns and Wendy By- rns will be happy to help you select the perfect gift for that special someone. The Goldsmith is located just north of Broadway on Embree St. in Princeton. James Capozella photo. pping sh C-4 Shopping Wednesday, December 16, 2015 The Press-Dispatch
