8 SANTA CRUZ WOMAN SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27, 2015 D eborah Cypert, owner of Inte- rior Vision Flooring & Design in Soquel, takes pride in her com- mitment to customer service. "Our business model is all about develop- ing relationships with our custom- ers," she said. "It's our goal to make everyone happy." Cypert, a licensed flooring and window-covering contractor, has been in the building industry for over 18 years. She opened the store in 2003 and has been a public favorite ever since. "We are a one-stop shop that often beats the big box stores," she said. "Our knowledge- able staff takes the customers from start to the finish. We provide bou- tique service." The 3,000-square-foot showroom has everything from hardwood and linoleum to carpeting, blinds and shutters. "We stand behind all of our products that are made in the U.S.," she said. In addition, all merchandise is environmentally friendly. "We do our part," she said. "We have many customers who come in saying they have certain allergies, especially to carpet. We can show them affordable, healthy alternatives, including cork, linoleum and certain hard woods." Because their location is "off the beaten path," Cypert relies on word of mouth. "We're a destination place. Our customers are often referred to us through other customers and through our great Yelp re- views," she said. Cypert is a local resident who has lived, worked and raised her children in the Santa Cruz/Soquel area. In fact, she boasts that her daughter also works for the busi- ness. "It's great having her here to continue the tradition," she said. Interior Vision Flooring & Design provides services for both residential and commercial properties. "I have worked extensively with contractors, realtors, developers as well as proper- ty management companies and home owners," she writes in her website. "We can help you with everything from the simple problem to complex installations, including products for radiant heat, patterns and borders." The store's vast selection includes products like bamboo and exotic woods, laminates such as Wilson- art, Mannington and Pergo, Natural Linoleum, all major brands of carpet, wool, sisal, cork, custom and ready made area rugs, porcelain tile and Hunter Douglas Allustra and running line window shades and shutters. "I am happy to be able to make a contribution back to the community I love," she said. Interior Vision Flooring & Design is located at 2800 Daubenbiss Ave, Soquel, CA 95073.
