Von is a very caring and helpful person and she has been very busy helping in a variety of areas. Von helps with Sorting, bag- ging, delivering commodities and making sure her family and friends are taken care of. Von is a big, big help in the kitchen and on Monday night Bingo, she keeps our dishes and kitchen sparkling clean. on Walker Thank you so much Von, for all your help. We all appreciate your help! CORNER CORNER Well, here it is fall already and I'm so glad to find some relief from those hot and humid temperatures. And now that the kids are back in school and the gardens are harvested you will be able to find time to volunteer. The volunteer meeting was held this week. We dis- cussed many upcoming events including the Membership dinner, Flu shot clinics, and our Halloween Party. Please feel free to come and join us. Thank you to all the wonderful support we got from the parade of tables. You all did a marvelous job decorating and we couldn't have asked for any better from the waitresses and waiters. I think they all must have come from a 5 star restaurant! Great Job! Thank you! Thank you to all the Health Fair volunteers – wow what a great service. Without your help we could not have helped so many. Thank you again! Now, get ready to help with the flu shots.
