For three years running, the Senior Computer Center has benefitted from their partnership with YouthSERVE and Senior Tech Day. The Volunteer Center has been awarded a grant for the development of Senior Tech Day run by its YouthServe program. Senior Tech Day utilizes the skills of teen volunteers to provide monthly workshops for seniors who are struggling with technology and personal devices such as iPads and cell phones. The increased funding will not only allow YouthSERVE to purchase equipment to help further their technological mission but also expand the program to more senior centers in the area.
