High school teachers on average assign about 3.5 hours of homework each week for each class which would end up at about 4hrs a night. Students everywhere are feeling the pressures of a large homework load, but teachers say it's worth it .What needs to be determined is if up to 4hrs of home- work a night is too much no maer how beneficial it might be.When the amount of homework pushes bounds so that it is not possible to fit other things into your after school life that's when things can be concerning. Many students have been saying that the homework load is overboard and if you ask the teachers they will all tell you it is minimal and absolutely necessary . In order clarify if homework is or is not given to an excessive extent we got the facts from the students of Red Bluff High and the Teachers so we can see both sides of the story and maybe beer understand the situa- tion. That being said, one thing the teachers may not understand is that although they may only assign thirty minutes a night it adds up with all the homework assigned in other classes.
