Marilyn will have some of her books for sale and to autograph after her talk. Marilyn Nutter holds an MA in Communication Disorders and has taught at Christian colleges for twenty-three years. She has also practiced as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) primarily in long term health care. In 2004 she sensed that God was moving her away from the classroom to writing and other areas of ministry. Since that time, she has been a contributor to Life on Purpose for Mothers, Leadership Connections Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Mother of Preschooler’s Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul: New Moms, Laundry Tales, Simple Joy, and Girlfriend2Girlfriend. Her fi rst book, Dressed up Moms’ Devotions to Go, was released in May, 2006. Nearly thirty years ago Marilyn had the benefi t of a mentor who pointed her to extraordinary treasures from the Bible. She has also found that life’s paths with its detours, seasons, and challenges have priceless God-given treasures along the way and inspired her to write Diva Delights. She considers it a privilege to pass on her life experiences through writing and teaching. Now as a Boomer Grandma, she looks forward to new stories to share. Marilyn has been involved with women’s ministries in her church for several years as a MOPS mentor and a Bible study teacher. Her experiences as a member of a tea group prompted her to write Tea Lovers’ Devotions to Go. She enjoys sharing refreshment to women’s groups in learning about tea as a beverage and as an experience and has developed a course for a community college.
